Acceptance of these terms
By using texasesapetletter.org, submitting an intake form, or purchasing an assessment, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. If you are entering into these terms on behalf of a minor as their parent or legal guardian, you accept them for both of you.
What this service is
We are an administrative and coordination service. We operate this website, collect intake information, schedule appointments, process payments, and deliver documentation produced by independently licensed Texas clinicians. The clinical assessment itself is performed by the clinician, who exercises independent professional judgment and is solely responsible for their clinical determinations.
We are not a registry. We do not issue registration numbers, certificates, identification cards, vests, or any product claiming to confer legal status on an animal. No private party can confer that status.
We are not a government agency, and we are not affiliated with HUD, the Department of Justice, the Department of Transportation, or any Texas state agency.
We are not a law firm. Information on this site describes general legal frameworks and is not legal advice. Reading it does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18, or the parent or legal guardian of a Texas-resident minor.
- You must be a Texas resident, and located in Texas at the time of the appointment.
- The information you provide must be truthful and complete.
Providing false information is grounds for immediate termination without refund.
Clinical independence
We do not instruct clinicians on outcomes, set approval targets, or pay them based on approval rates.
A clinician may decline to issue documentation, recommend a different accommodation, refer you for further care, or find that no disability-related need is present. That determination is final as a clinical matter, though you may always seek an assessment elsewhere.
No guaranteed outcome
We do not guarantee that a clinician will approve your request, that a housing provider will grant an accommodation, that a school will approve a campus housing request, or that an airline will accept documentation. Those decisions belong to third parties applying their own processes. Any statement about typical timelines is an estimate, not a promise.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information during intake and during your appointment.
- Use documentation only for the purpose for which it was issued, and only for the animal or animals it names.
- Do not alter, forge, reproduce for others, resell, or misrepresent any letter we deliver. Altering clinical documentation may constitute a criminal offense in Texas.
- Comply with your lease, your school's animal agreement, local licensing and vaccination laws, and leash and waste ordinances.
- Take responsibility for your animal's behavior and for any damage or injury it causes. Nothing in your letter shifts that responsibility to us or to your clinician.
Payment, renewals, and cancellations
Fees are stated on our pricing page and charged in U.S. dollars when your appointment is confirmed. We do not enroll you in a recurring subscription; renewals require a new authorization each time. Appointments may be rescheduled at no cost with at least 12 hours' notice. Refund eligibility is governed by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
Prohibited uses
You may not use this site to submit false clinical information, to obtain documentation for someone who has not been assessed, to scrape or copy our content for a competing service, to reverse engineer our systems, to attempt unauthorized access, or to interfere with the site's operation. We may suspend or terminate access for any of these, and we cooperate with law enforcement on fraudulent documentation.
Intellectual property
The text, layout, graphics, and code on this site are owned by Texas ESA Registration and protected by copyright. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial portions, use our content to train a competing service's marketing, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests affiliation or endorsement.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that legal information on it is current in every respect, since these laws change.
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the site or our administrative services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost housing, moving costs, pet fees paid, or lost income. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and this section does not limit a clinician's own professional responsibility for their clinical services.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Before filing any action, you agree to contact us and give us 30 days to resolve the dispute informally, because most complaints are resolved in a phone call. If that fails, exclusive venue lies in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continued use constitutes acceptance.

Client experiences
What clients say
“It was clear the clinician makes the call independently rather than the company. I wanted to know that.”
“No auto-renewing subscription buried in the fine print, which is what happened to me somewhere else.”
